چکیده
The classification of CNV based on its angiographic characteristics was regarded as very important in the past, when treatment fundamentally consisted on thermal laser ablation or photodynamic therapy (PDT). However, at present, the development of spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SDOCT) and the use of intravitreal injections of antiangiogenic drugs have led to a genuine revolution in the diagnosis, follow-up and prognosis of these patients.
